Rainbow Retreat, located on the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean, is a centre that is dedicated to bring health and well being to people who wish to seek a happy and healthy lifestyle. For natural beauty inside and out.
If your life was not changing, you would not exist our Universe and everything in it are continually changing because our Universe is made of energy. Energy can only exist only if it is in motion and changing. If energy stopped being in motion, our entire Universe and all life would vanish. Our lives are also energy and therefore they too must always be in motion and continue to change. You cannot stop the motion and change in your life, nor would you want to. The changing nature of energy gives us life. It causes life to grow and causes us to grow.

Our vision at Rainbow Retreat is to provide a safe environment for people who want to escape from everyday life to have a break with guidance and activities to help them get their lives back into track. People long to have a different lifestyle but find it difficult to get the discipline to make the changes they need to make it happen.

Our mission is to lay the path and teach people to live fully and freely in their lifestyle. The ultimate goal in one’s life is to be happy, healthy and harmonious with ourselves and our environment around us. Finding the balance between our outside journey and our inside journey.

Our goal is to provide counselling, programs and workshops amongst others: Meditation, Yoga and Perfect Health. Providing these programs to teach people the wisdom of Ayurveda and show them how they can get in touch with their inner selves and keep in tune with nature. Guide them to a less stressful life is an integral part of the total living and we teach people how to bring yoga into their daily lives for an easier balance of being.
Provide other services such as: Medical services, Spa Services (massages, hairdresser, and beauty treatment).
The founders
Rainbow Retreat is inspired by Patricia McGraw and Martyn Barratt from Cambridge Weight Plan Benelux BV. After 13 years of laying the foundation of the Cambridge Lifestyle concept, it was inevitable that with the challenges with the current lifestyle more was needed for people to get relieve from the daily stress and negativity. Patricia was inspired by The Chopra Center University with meditation, yoga and Ayurveda. After being certified as a Vedic Master her passion to teach people the basics of yoga meditation and Ayurveda inspired Martyn to design and create the unique Rainbow Retreat. There is nothing like it anywhere else in the world.
The Manager at Rainbow Retreat
Michelangela Duran a native of Curacao, left the island early eighties to Puerto Rico, Colegio Regional de Carolina where I did my Associated degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, after completion went to Rhode Island at the Johnson & Wales University, major Hospitality Management, and did my Master degree in International Business.
I worked in different position for these past years.
As a manager at Rainbow Retreat I will ensure that the property will operates according to the most uncompromising standards of service, courtesy, cleanliness and customer satisfaction. As an experienced industry professional I am committed to providing guest service that not only meets, but exceeds expectations.
